Alex Wilson has been warning us on what hailstorms to look out for ages now! But, the broadcast journalism graduate apparently never set out to be a weather woman in her younger days. But, once you’re in it, it’s easy to fall in love with the profession and soon she went ahead with undergoing formal education in the meteorology field.

Holding an advanced degree from Penn State University, she joined South Carolina’s WHNS-TV with a newfound passion. After much trial and error and short stints with other networks, she bagged the contract of a lifetime when she sealed the deal as The Weather Channel’s new face!

Indra Petersons

Californian belle, Indra Petersons, hit the airwaves just right when she became a meteorologist on CNN’s New Day. There simply cannot be a better start to a day than watching a charismatic forecaster giving you a heads-up about the weather that day, right?

When her deal with CNN was over, Indra became the weather person on KABC-TV, which also served as a remarkable opportunity. Above all, this lady is truly qualified as she has a degree in Atmospheric Physics certified by the University of Arizona. Isn’t “beauty with brains” the perfect monicker for this lovely lady?
