Dana White Gets Loudly Booed Even After Missing Joshua vs. Fury Presser

Tyson Fury and Anthony Joshua revived their rivalry on Sept. 30, 2026, during a press event for their Netflix fight card. The heavyweight stars will meet Dec. 11 at Principality Stadium in Cardiff, Wales, with Netflix set to stream the fight card.

Dana White’s Name Steals Attention

Although Dana White skipped the event, his role in the promotion remained a talking point. Eddie Hearn and Matchroom Boxing represent Joshua, while White and Zuffa Boxing have sought involvement on Fury’s side. However, reports claim Joshua’s contract prevents White from promoting the bout, creating tension around the matchup and adding the storyline before fight night.

Still, White’s absence did not stop the crowd from reacting. Turki Alalshikh mentioned the UFC CEO during the event, and the English audience responded with loud boos. Meanwhile, Hearn watched with a smile.

Alalshikh Addresses the Crowd

Alalshikh thanked his “brother” Dana White for being “suddenly” absent before the reaction grew louder. He then made clear that the dispute belonged between White and the other parties, not with him.

The moment added another layer to a fight that fans have wanted for years. Now, Fury and Joshua can focus on their December meeting, while the promotional dispute continues to attract attention from fans before the bell.
