What’s next?

Initial reports have suggested that Brady’s retirement did not come as a shock; at 44, he was the oldest current player in the NFL this past season. He commented that he believed success in football was a 100% commitment, and that has remained his top priority for the past 22 years. But unfortunately, he now wishes to project that commitment and attention of his plans, and football is not included in those.

He cited a desire to spend more time with his wife, Gisele Bündchen, and his three children. His retirement plans are a work in progress. However, he has confirmed to continue his work with the companies he co-founded. These include NFT platform Autograph, which has recently raised $170 million in its Series B, BRADY brand; his apparel and merchandise company; and TB12 Sports, a diet and exercise program that promotes athlete’s wellbeing.

In 2020, he launched 199 Productions, a nod to the number of his selection in the 2000 NFL draft, to develop documentaries, films, and TV shows.
