Seven Super Bowl Championship, Tom Brady, Retiring After 22 Seasons in NFL
Thomas Edward Patrick Brady Junior is an American gridiron football quarterback who has led his teams to sever Super Bowl Victories from 2002 to 201. He has also been named as the most valuable player five times.
In 2021 he was declared one of the World’s Highest-paid athletes while participating in 22 NFL seasons and seven Super Bowl titles. He won Six Super Bowls with New England Patriot before he lifted the Vince Lombardi trophy for the last time with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in 2021. The legendary quarterback has more super Bowls rings than any other team in NFL.
Why is Bucs quarterback called “GOAT”?
Tom Brady has been appropriately known as ‘The GOAT’, meaning ‘The Greatest of All Time.’ For decades, this term has been used by the United States press and fans to refer great athletes, including Micheal Jordon, Muhammad Ali, Kobe Bryant, Tiger Woods, and Lionel Messi. After all, Tom has been a hero to legions of fans all across America.
Brady is the World’s highest-paid athlete with earnings of $76 million and has been recognized amongst the top ten players by Forbes.
Brady’s football achievements
His performance in the football league is unrivaled. He has won seven Super Bowls, six with the New England Patriots, and one in Tampa Bay last year. He has held records of touchdown and passing yards. He has now become the ultimate example of a football player worldwide. Brady has also won awards for being the most valuable player, Best NFL player, Bert Bell Award, and Best Male Athlete. He was also named the Spokesperson of the Year for Sports Illustrated Magazine in 2005 and 2021. Bill Belichick, the general manager of the New England Patriots, defined Brady as the ultimate competitor and winner.
What’s next?
Initial reports have suggested that Brady’s retirement did not come as a shock; at 44, he was the oldest current player in the NFL this past season. He commented that he believed success in football was a 100% commitment, and that has remained his top priority for the past 22 years. But unfortunately, he now wishes to project that commitment and attention of his plans, and football is not included in those.
He cited a desire to spend more time with his wife, Gisele Bündchen, and his three children. His retirement plans are a work in progress. However, he has confirmed to continue his work with the companies he co-founded. These include NFT platform Autograph, which has recently raised $170 million in its Series B, BRADY brand; his apparel and merchandise company; and TB12 Sports, a diet and exercise program that promotes athlete’s wellbeing.
In 2020, he launched 199 Productions, a nod to the number of his selection in the 2000 NFL draft, to develop documentaries, films, and TV shows.
