Throughout his Middleweight Run, Canelo has fought against boxing champions like Austin Trout, Kermit Cintron, Floyd Mayweather, and others. And each of the competitions added up to his illustrious career and reputation.
Likewise, Canelo continued to shine in his Super Middleweight runs as well. Starting from early 2020, Alvarez fought against Callum Smith and Billy Joe in 2021. Outperforming both of his competitors, Canelo secured the WBO Super Middleweight Title. In the same division, Canelo defeated another boxing hall of fame, Caleb Plant.
This consecutive success allowed him to win the IBF Title of the Super Middleweight Division. Thus, the career of Canelo is filled with worthwhile success.
