From Sidelines to Broadcast Booth
McGinnis built a respected career that stretched across coaching and broadcasting. He served as an assistant coach for eight seasons between 2004 and 2011. During that time, he worked alongside key figures and helped guide the team with steady leadership.
Later, he returned in 2017 as a radio analyst. In that role, he brought energy and insight to every broadcast. Fans connected with his voice, and his presence added depth to the game-day experience.
The upcoming honor recognizes more than a career. It celebrates a person who inspired players, staff, and fans alike. His dedication stood out, and his approach to the game created strong relationships throughout the league.
